How to sign up

Are you interested in using our new Prescription Vending Machine? The team at LloydsPharmacy Totton (Asda Precinct) are on hand to help sign you up to the service, speak to a member of our pharmacy team in store who can help you sign up.

4 simple steps to collect your repeat prescription:

  1. Order your repeat prescription as usual, then look out for the text from LloydsPharmacy saying your prescription is ready
  2. At the pharmacy, enter your 6-digit code on the Prescription Vending Machine touch screen
  3. Pay securely with a debit or credit card, or declare that you qualify for free prescriptions
  4. The machine will release your prescription

How long do I have to collect my prescription?

Once you’re had your text saying your prescription is ready, it will be available to collect from our Prescription Vending Machine for four days. Don’t worry – we’ll send a reminder text just in case you forget to pick it up.

If you can’t make it, we will take your prescription out of the machine and store it securely in the pharmacy  until you are ready to collect it.

What if the machine doesn't work?

If you’re trying to use the Prescription Vending Machine during our pharmacy’s opening hours, just come inside and we will help sort out your prescription.

Can all medications be collected from the prescription vending machine?

No, not all prescriptions can be collected from the Prescription Vending Machine. This includes medications that need to be stored in the fridge, controlled items such as morphine or bulky dressings. Ask a member of our pharmacy team if your prescription is eligible.
