Clearblue Plus Pregnancy Test has been designed to offer you an easy pregnancy testing experience, with the 99% accuracy from Clearblue - it's as accurate as a doctor's urine test. Its revolutionary design came after extensive research with women and even won a Red Dot Design award in 2012.

How do I do the test?

Simply hold the absorbent Colour Change Tip pointing downwards in your urine stream or in a sample of your urine, in a clean dry container for 5 seconds. The Colour Change Tip instantly turns pink showing that the urine is being absorbed. Continue holding the Colour Change Tip in the urine for the full 5 seconds. Wait for 3 minutes. As the pregnancy test begins to work, you'll see blue lines start to develop.

Results

After 3 minutes you can read your results in the Result Window. A blue line must be present in the Control Window when you read your result. This line shows that the test has worked. If no blue line appears in the Control Window within 10 minutes the test has not worked. It does not matter if one of the lines that make up the '+' symbol is lighter or darker than the other; the result is 'Pregnant'. Read your result within 10 minutes of doing a test. Ignore any changes to your result after this time.

  • Always read the enclosed instruction leaflet carefully before use
  • If testing from the day your period is due, you can test with urine from any time of the day
  • If testing early, use the first urine of the day

• How to use

  Clearblue recommends that you test from the day your period is due. However, the pregnancy hormone increases rapidly in early pregnancy and Clearblue Plus can be used to test up to 4 days before your period is due.

  In clinical testing with early pregnancy samples Clearblue Plus gave the following results:

  • Number of days before the period is due: -1, % of samples from pregnant women giving a 'Pregnant' result: 87%
  • Number of days before the period is due: -2, % of samples from pregnant women giving a 'Pregnant' result: 84%
  • Number of days before the period is due: -3, % of samples from pregnant women giving a 'Pregnant' result: 74%
  • Number of days before the period is due: -4, % of samples from pregnant women giving a 'Pregnant' result: 53%

  If you test early and get a 'Not Pregnant' result it is possible that the level of pregnancy hormone may not yet be high enough to be detected. You should test again when your period is due.

  Pharmacy Medicines delivery

  Pharmacy Medicines will need to be signed for by someone aged 18 or over. If there isn't anyone in who can sign for your order, you can change your delivery date or redirect it to a local parcel shop using the courier's website or app.

  Unfortunately, your order can't be left in a safe place or with a neighbour. The courier will try to deliver three times before they return it to us.

  Purchasing in bulk/high unit volume

  Please note that when purchasing high unit volumes of single lines (10+ units) that delivery promotions are null and void.
  This is as a result of high volume orders not being able to be dispatched via our normal third party fulfilment.
  As a result for any excessive bulk orders of single lines we will be in touch regarding your order to discuss further delivery costs that will be incurred.
