The Promoter of this prize draw is Lloyds Pharmacy Limited of Sapphire Court, Walsgrave Triangle, Coventry, CV2 2TX.
The title of the competition is £1000 summer giveaway giving entrants the chance to win a £1,000.00 cash prize by entering your email address and contact details on this page.
3.1 The prize draw is open to all residents of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over, except:
a) Employees of the Promoter, or its holding or subsidiary companies
b) Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
c) Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
3.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4. HOW TO ENTER
4.1 The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
4.2 All entries must be submitted via this webpage and only one entry per person is permitted. All entries must be completed in full in order to be valid, which requires completion and submission of your contact details as requested. Any incomplete entries will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw.
4.3 The opening date for entries is 00:00 on 1 June 2021. The closing date of the prize draw is 23:59 on 30 June 2021. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
4.4 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network, or server failure of any kind nor will the Promoter be responsible for any damage to an entrant’s computer or electronic equipment occasioned by participation in a prize draw or downloading of any information necessary to participate in the prize draw.
5. WINNERS AND CLAIMING THE PRIZE
5.1 A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on 14 July 2021 ("Draw Date").
5.2 The winner will receive a cash prize of £1,000.00 exclusive of taxes, to be provided in the form of a cheque to the winner. Any taxes, expenses or other costs incurred that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
5.3 The winner will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) before 16 July 2021 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner does not respond to the Promoter within fourteen (14) days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
5.4 The prize will be sent to the winner by post within thirty (30) days of being notified of their win.
5.5 The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no alternative is offered. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
5.6 The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
5.7 The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
5.8 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails email@example.com or writes to FAO Marketing Team, Sapphire Court, Walsgrave Triangle, Coventry, CV2 2TX (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
6.1 Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
6.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so. The decision of the Promoter is final and binding.
6.3 The Promoter reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to undermine the entry process, the website, and/or the legitimate operation of a prize draw.
6.4 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
6.6 The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
