Celtic Wind Crops CBD oil is created using the whole hemp plant – a variety of the Cannabis Sativa plant grown only for food use. It’s vegan, gluten free and free from artificial ingredients.

    Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis Sativa plant. The hemp plant contains cannabinoids and CBD is one of these.     Celtic Wind Crops CBD oil is a pure concentrate. When cannabidiol oil is drawn from the Cannabis Sativa plant and bottled for consumption, some brands extract the CBD seed oil and combine it within another type of carrier oil for consumption. This process can change the make-up and profile of the hemp oil.

  • What forms does CBD oil come in?

    You can choose to take CBD oil in capsules, powder or as in oil in a dropper.   • How should Celtic Wind Crops CBD products be taken?

    The oil is taken sublingually (under the tongue), take 0.7ml (=1 squeeze of the dropper) once per day. One capsule twice a day, or for the powder a 2.5ml scoop once daily with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

    Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet.

  • Is it legal to buy CBD oil in the UK as a food supplement?

    Yes. In accordance with the EU Directive for food supplements, Celtic Wind Crops CBD Oil carries a Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) notification number for each product* and can be sold throughout Europe. The CBD oil is also supplied as a food supplement in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 of the EU Food Supplement Directive 2002/46/EC.

  • Does Celtic Wind Crops CBD oil contain THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)?

    Celtic Wind CBD oil contains a 0.02mg/g trace of THC.

    THC is a controlled substance, however, the trace is so minimal that Celtic Wind CBD products are non-psychoactive. Sold as a food supplement, it’s legally recognised under the Food Supplements Directive 2002/46/EU.

    Celtic Wind CBD products carry a Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) notification number and can be sold throughout Europe. The FSAI food supplement notification number for Celtic Wind CBD oil is 22452.

  • Can I use CBD oil with prescription medicines and other types of medicines?

    We would not recommend that you use CBD oil with medicines. If you are already using CBD products with prescription medication or other medicines, we recommend speaking to your doctor for advice. If you are pregnant or are breast feeding we also recommend you consult with your doctor before taking CBD products.

  • What is the best time of day to take CBD oil?

    The oil and capsules can be taken at any time, with or without food. The powder should be mixed with food or drink. Always follow on-pack instructions and do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

  • Are there any side effects from taking CBD oil?

    As with any food ingredient there is always a chance you may experience an allergic reaction. Therefore, if you are taking any form of medication, please seek medical advice from your medical practitioner before using it.
